Tonight...We Ride

Once again the Bakersfield Californian has teamed up with the Bakersfield Museum of Art for this years Eye Gallery. During the month of August and September, the Californian will feature 3 artist every Thursday in the Eye Street section of the paper. The 19 artist selected to participate were given the loose theme of "Kern County" for their art work to be centered around. Each work produced will then be on display at the Bakersfield Museum of Art for their September 11th opening. Inspired by my nightly bike rides, solo or with friends, I decided to render a bicycle. Bakersfield seems to look different when you are on a bike so, "tonight... we ride."

Two out of three of my entries were accepted. The Visual Arts Small Works Juried Art Festival 2008: Fragments, opens May 22nd 6-8pm at the Bakersfield Museum of Art, hope to see you all there.

New Studio!

Studio Seven has moved!! After the holiday craziness Liz and I have finally found a new studio. We are actually in the same building just two doors down from our old place. We are now Studio Seven at #5. We are currently in the process of getting settled in and already have lots in the works.
